Turbidity Sensor Model TURBImat-HC

Description:

The process turbidity meter model TURBImat-HC measures the NIR- absorption caused by particles in liquids. Installation by imersion into basins or open channels. Alternative rod probe design for pipe insertion via ball valve or flange.
Measurements from medium up to high trubidity ranges.

Configurable to measure:

ppm, mg/l, EBC, FTU, g/l, %, AU, Ext, OD, ….

Measuring principle:

The probe uses the principle of NIR- absorption to detect turbidity in liquids. An LED light source with emission in the near-infrared range and a high-precision receiver diode are installed in the sensor’s optics.
The measurement in the infrared spectrum ensures precise measurement results, unaffected by fluctuations in product color.

– The wetted parts  of the probe are made of stainless steel.
– Other materials such as titanium or Hastelloy are optionally available.
Measuring window: Sapphire (optionally borosilicate, Plexiglas, …):
– Sapphire is used as the window material.
– Other materials such as borosilicate or Plexiglas are optionally available.
Sealing material: FKM (optionally FFKM, EPDM, silicone, …):
– The seals are made of FKM.
– Seals made of other materials such as FFKM, EPDM or silicone are optionally available.
Process connection:
– Installation through ball valve in process line.
– Basin or open Channel imersion.
– DIN or Ansi flange on the probe shaft.
Measuring range span: 0 – 0.1 AU up to 0 – 5 AU:
-The measuring range extends from 0 to 0.1 absorption units up to 0 – 5 absorption units.
